This is a whole day tour to discover the scenery and historical heritage of the Danube Bend area. As the Danube turn west to east to north to south direction we follow it a few stops included. First stop would be the magnificent basilica in Esztergom where the cardinal ship stays. The Basilica is the eight biggest in the world – and the biggest religious building in Hungary - and you will experience it’s dimensions once you stand in the middle of the dome. Danube Bend Private Tour with Ágnes

the medievil fort of Visegrád where we look at the real Danube Bend. Visegrád was first mentioned in 1009 as a county town and the chief town of an archdeaconry. After the destructive Mongol invasion of Europe in 1242, the town was rebuilt in a slightly different location to the south. King Charles I of Hungary made Visegrád, his hometown, the royal seat of Hungary in 1325. At the same time, his diplomat Stephen Sáfár was appointed castellan. Come with me and discover this historically magnificent place.

Szentendre

The third stop is Szentendre where you can explore the mediterranean atmosphere in this charming town wiith me and marvel at the number of galleries, performers and musicians on the street. During your free time you have the opportunity to visit some museums (e.g. Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum or the Marzipan Museum exl. the tour) or shops. At the end optionally you can return to Budapest by boat during the summer.
